HPT/Downstream Casino $1,100 Main Event Seat Giveaway
 DDPL is awarding an additional $2,200 in prizes to six players for an opportunity to play in the first 2009 Heartland Poker Tour Event. The contest will run from Monday, December 1st through Sunday, January 18th. There are currently 1122 players competing for 184 invitations in the HPT/Downstream Finals Event at Clarette Club on Saturday, January 24th. More Information (Login Required)

Gary Lynn Jones: 07/26/1949 - 09/11/2008 **Update**
Gary Lynn Jones, 59, Shawnee, Kansas, died Thursday, September 11, 2008 at the Shawnee Mission Medical Center.
Gary was born on July 26, 1949 in Kansas City, Missouri. Gary loved riding his motorcycle and playing poker with all of us. He was also an avid pool player. He is survived by his wife, Pamela J. Jones, father Tom Jones, children Jon, Brian, and Missy.

$75,000 Cash And Prizes In 2008
DDPL has awarded an estimated $50,000 in cash and prizes to it's players from January 2008 through July 2008. Bi-Monthly and Annual prize structures have awarded $11,200 in cash to our players. Individual session winners have won an estimated $32,000 in cash and gift certificates. Prize point redemption has reached over $5,000 including $2,350 in QT gift cards and $1,600 in poker related merchandise. There is currently over $25,000 in estimated cash and prizes available from individual session prizes from September through December and the $3,000 QLC Tournament on October 11, 2008. In 2007, DDPL awarded an estimated $52,000 in cash and prizes.
